Up2Scratch DJ Academy comes to Starfish Studios in Lewes! We're excited to offer 4 brand new courses from Jan 2021, covering a range of DJing and production skills at beginner level.

1. MIXING SKILLS - MONDAYS 16:00 - 17:30
Learn to blend, beatmatch & backspin with REAL VINYL
2. SKRATCH SKILLS - MONDAYS 17:45 - 19:15
Manipulate vinyl to make the turntable an instrument

3. HARDWARE PRODUCTION - FRIDAYS 16:00 - 17:30
Create original beats with a hardware sampler (HIP HOP / LO-FI)
4. SOFTWARE PRODUCTION - FRIDAYS 17:45 - 19:15
Construct modern tracks with samples, synths and plug-ins (GRIME / DRILL)

Starfish Courses
4 x 90 min sessions - £60
Each course consists of 4 x 90 minute weekly sessions, limited to 5 students aged 10-18. All equipment is provided. All courses will run from week beginning Jan 11th 2021.

These are BEGINNER Level 1 courses, no experience necessary.
We aim to run Level 2 courses from March 2021.

*In the event of further lockdown restrictions, all courses will be paused/postponed. In the event that a course does not run, all payments will be refunded in full.
